Tulsa County commissioners have scheduled a special meeting to discuss the $60,000 in back fees and assessments the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame has owed for months.

The meeting on Monday comes after county has given the hall several reprieves to pay its debts. The county could decide whether to serve the nonprofit with an eviction notice.

Financial problems surfaced after the hall moved into the Art Deco-style Union Depot in 2007. This spring, the organization's nearly $4,000 check for a half-year's insurance on the building bounced.

The organization recently put on a jazz benefit concert and is scrambling to find other ways of generating revenue.

Hall of Fame Chief Executive Officer Jason McIntosh promised last month that bills will be paid.
