Fatal Accident in Rogers County, Road Reopened

Three were killed after a head on collision in Rogers County Thursday, Oct. 4.

29-year-old Owen McCool was attempting to pass a semi truck heading east on State Highway 266 when it collided with a Chevy Malibu.

Clifford Colyer, 21, and his passenger, as well as McCool were killed as a result of the accident. Colyer and his passenger were pinned for over an hour and died at the scene. McCool died of massive injuries after being transported to St. John's Hospital in Tulsa.

Due to the accident, SH-266 was shut down and traffic was diverted for nearly three hours.
