Crime Report Shows Tulsa and Oklahoma Counties With Most Arrests

Tulsa County had the second most total arrests in the state of Oklahoma in the year 2011.

According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, Tulsa County accounted for 20,228 adult arrests in the state. Juvenile arrests, 2,852, were also the second highest in the state, behind Oklahoma County.

Oklahoma County had over 26,000 adult arrests and nearly 5,000 juvenile arrests in 2011, according to the report.

Tulsa and Oklahoma were the two counties with a total crime index over 10,000. Murder, rape, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, larceny and motor vehicle theft are labeled as index crimes.

Alfalfa County had zero juvenile arrests and Cimarron County had 6 adult arrests. Both counties were the lowest total arrests counts for their respective categories, according to the report.

Cleveland County held the third highest total adult arrests in the state with 11,034.

In 2011, Creek County had 321 juvenile arrests and 1,522 adult arrests. Muskogee County had 642 total juvenile arrests and 4,600 total adult arrests. Okmulgee County counted 105 total juvenile arrests and 1,392 total adult arrests. Osage County had 28 juvenile arrests and 602 total adult arrests. Rogers County had 223 juvenile arrests and 1, 816 adult arrests. Wagoner County had 185 juvenile arrests and 1,681 adult arrests. Washington had 162 total juvenile arrests and 1,916 total adult arrests.
