Jazz Hall of Fame
Tulsa -
Update: Tulsa County commissioners decided to take no action against the Hall of Fame, which announced it's raised enough money to begin paying its overdue bills.
Channel 8's Latoya Silmon was at the meeting Monday morning when Hall of Fame organizers met with commissioners telling the room they had raised more than $75K with the help of donors from across the country.
We'll have more with you later as Latoya returns from the meeting with details, footage and more information about the Hall of Fame's announcement.

The deadline has arrived for the Jazz Hall of Fame to begin paying their more than $60K debt due for several outstanding bills.
An outstanding electric bill, insurance bill and ballpark assessment fees are all contributing to the Jazz Hall of Fame's debt due Monday, Oct. 8. The Tulsa County Industrial Authority will also hold a meeting Monday morning to discuss the museum's future.
Channel 8 previously reported that the Tulsa County commissioner's office has given the hall several reprieves to pay its debts. The halls financial problems surfaces after their move into the Art Deco-style Union Depot in 2007.
Back in the spring, the Jazz Hall of Fame almost $4,000 check for the building's insurance bounced.
Directors of the organizations announced last week they would be able to begin paying off some of their debt through donations received across the country and events designed to generate revenue, such as a recent jazz benefit concert.
