Detectives are seeking help identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery at a Dollar General last week.

Around 9 pm, a black male armed with a handgun entered the Dollar General in midtown located on 4th and Lewis Avenue on Oct. 2.

A witness at the scene said they observed the suspect enter an older model, brown Chevrolet truck. The suspect was reported to be wearing a brown hoodie with blue jeans, a black hat and black shoes.

The clerk at the Dollar General also described the suspect as having a short, scraggly beard.
