The Sports Commission announced Monday the USA Volleyball Championships are coming to town.
The event will take place in July of 2014.
More than 4,000 junior attendees from around the globe will visit Tulsa during the week-long competition including Mexico, Peru and Puerto Rico.
Organizers say the championship has gotten so big over the years, they had to change venues.
A.J. Joseph said, "It has grown into a monster. We can't fit in most ballrooms anymore. We've really gotten creative with how we do it in arena settings, things like that. It's a very, very popular event with local flair and local entertainment."
The championship should create an economic impact worth $3.5-million dollars.
