Golden Hurricane Continue To Find Ways To Win

Posted: Updated:

The University of Tulsa has it's own Red River Rivalry this week.  TU hosts the Minors of Texas El Paso this Thursday night on national television.

The Golden Hurricane are coming off their fifth straight win.  A couple of those wins have been some grinders.  Tulsa Head Coach Bill Blankenship says he'd like to see his guys do a better job of putting other teams away.

But he likes the way this team keeps on battling.

"We're very resourceful.  It's a team that believes in each other." Blankenship said, "They are a team that believes they can be a conference champion.  And they're finding a way to win each week.  it's been a little different, different heroes, different circumstances, but still finding ways to come up with the plays in the end."

The Golden Hurricane will take on the Minors on Thursday night at 7:00pm at Chapman Stadium.
