Vinita Man Dies In Craig County Crash

Posted: Updated:

Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troopers say a Vinita man died in a three car crash in Craig County.

It happened just before 2 p.m. Thursday on US 60.

Troopers say a woman was driving westbound on US 60 when she crossed into oncoming traffic.

Her truck hit Vinita-native Lenvil Dunn, 71, causing his Corvette to spin.

A tractor-trailer truck then hit Dunn's car on the driver's side.

He was pinned for about half an hour, then pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident is still under investigation.

Everyone was wearing a seat belt.
