Broken Arrow's downtown may soon be called the "Rose District."

The city's Downtown Advisory Board has voted to recommend that name to the City Council.

"The Old Town District" was the other option.

The City Council is expected to vote on the name next week.

Supporters say the name would be used for marketing the area's shopping and restaurant options.
