Tulsa's Nathan Hale High School is placed on lock down Thursday morning.
School officials made the move around 10:00am as a precaution. Rumors circulated that a weapon had been brought to campus.
Tulsa schools officers did a sweep of the building and found no weapon. The lock down was lifted around 11:30 a.m.
Officials told KTUL.com they didn't think there was an immediate threat to student safety at the time. The lock down was standard procedure while the weapons sweep was conducted.
