We have new information on the search for a missing Tulsa boy.

Fourteen-year-old Dario Hogan disappeared earlier Saturday evening after fire crews say he went into a rain-swollen creek to help a friend who had fallen in the water.

There are search dogs walking the banks of the Coal Creek in North Tulsa. Investigators tell us after the dogs do their work, they may suspend the search and start back up Sunday morning.

Here is what we are being told so far by officials on scene.

There were three boys - including Dario - playing in the area of Coal Creek.

It is not clear at this time if all the boys fell in the water, however Dario remains missing.

Investigators are looking everywhere because they are not sure if he is in the water or if he got out.

Crews from Tulsa Police and Tulsa Fire are looking for him, along with a search and rescue task force and a water rescue team.

A TPD helicopter is flying the creek searching for Dario using thermal imaging, but they are not getting a good shot at the creek in many places because of low-hanging limbs.

Coal Creek feeds into Bird Creek which feeds into the Arkansas River.

Dario is 5'11, has brown hair and was wearing gray shorts at the time he disappeared.

Emergency officials are asking anyone who sees Dario to call 911 immediately.
