Two Warner Volunteer Firefighters Arrested on Arson Charges

WARNER, Okla. -

Two volunteer firefighters were arrested on arson charges in Muskogee County earlier this week.

Tobey Hadley Jr., 19, was arrested Tuesday, Oct. 16 and Robert Hill, 20, was arrested yesterday, Oct. 17 in Warner.

According to Assistant Police Chief Steve Lane, the two volunteers are being charged with seven counts of arson, one count of embezzlement and one count of unauthorized use of a credit card.

No one was reported injured as a result of the fires, however one structure was damaged, said Lane. The damaged building is still being investigated, although Warner police believe it was a separate incident and that they have a suspect who is not a volunteer firefighter.

Lane stated that the two are being arraigned today, Oct. 18 at 3 p.m.

Lane said that Hadley and Hill were good kids that went to school in Warner and that the incident has shocked everyone.

Hadley and Hill are two young men that crossed the line, according to Lane.
