Two Tulsa-area teams are competing in a world BBQ championship this coming week.

They're headed to Tennessee to battle international teams for the best BBQ.

About 70 teams will cook up their best creations.

In order to qualify, competitors must have won regional contests, like Memphis in May.

We caught up with one of the teams before they left town.  Mike Hays says when you get to this level, the grill is serious business.

The two teams going are named "Little Pig Town" and "Team Enoserv."

The contest is put on by Jack Daniels, and it's the world's most prestigious competition.

Winners get $30,000 in cash and prizes.
