The American Red Cross and Turn Tulsa Pink are joining forces to help save lives with two simultaneous blood drives.
They will be held Saturday, October 20th from Noon to 4:00 PM at Woodland Hills Mall at 71st and Memorial and Promenade Mall at 41st and Yale.
This is the second year the two organizations have teamed up to honor those that are struggling or have struggled with cancer.
It also kicks off "Turn Tulsa Pink Compassion Week."
All donors will be entered to win a Turn Tulsa Pink gift basket which includes a T-shirt, wrist band and other memorabilia.
On Sunday night a tornado went through the town of Carney. It destroyed or damaged about 40 homes. When you look out at the area there are homes in every direction that show some kind of damage. Some of the families that have lived there for 17 years and have never been through anything like this. They didn't even have enough time to get their family in the shelter.
