Posted: Updated:

Live great... while marveling at nature!

Green Country has tons of hiking trails to get some great exercise.

And now you can add a brand new one to your list.

Lake Keystone's Ancient Forest has added a paved path..

And free tours are available on the second Saturday of every month.

Or you can hike alone.

The scenery is amazing. And can you imagine? Some of the trees are 500 years old!

Grant Gerondale is the Sand Springs Parks Director.

"Just a really nice piece of Oklahoma. Classic landscape. This is what Oklahoma used to look like for hundreds and hundreds of years before QuikTrips and Walmarts took us over. So this is what Oklahoma used to look like."

Hiking is available November 10th, December 8th and January 12th. 8am to 2pm.
