A Coweta man was killed in an accident in Rogers County Oct. 19.
48-year-old James R. Sawyer died at the scene of massive injuries last night after 2012 Chevrolet Sedan flipped multiple times. Sawyer was the passenger in the vehicle.
David Hetherington, 48, was driving westbound on Admiral Boulevard at a high rate of speed when the vehicle left the road. The vehicle flipped multiple times before stopping upright.
Hetherington was transported to a Tulsa hospital and was admitted in stable condition.
Both Sawyer and Hetherington were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident.
