South Tulsa -
The ORU Mabee Center is celebrating its 40th anniversary.
A special ceremony Saturday commemorated the building that has been in South Tulsa since 1972.
The arena has hosted special guests from Elvis Presley to Justin Bieber, and even the Olympic Gymnastics trials.
Representatives of the Mabee Center were thrilled about the celebration.
A special plaque was also dedicated on behalf of the Mabee foundation to commemorate the anniversary.
