Firefighters Battle North Tulsa Blaze

North Tulsa -

Tulsa Police battled a North Tulsa house fire.

It happened near 800 N. Peoria.

Fire investigators say they think a live wire arced and started the blaze.

Smoke was visible from downtown as the fire burned.

The back building was behind a vacant house.

The shed was a total loss.

No one was hurt.

An official investigation will determine what exactly caused the fire.

On Sunday night a tornado went through the town of Carney. It destroyed or damaged about 40 homes. When you look out at the area there are homes in every direction that show some kind of damage. Some of the families that have lived there for 17 years and have never been through anything like this. They didn't even have enough time to get their family in the shelter.
