"A Paws" For Pet Adoption Tour

Fido Friendly Magazine's Get Your Licks On Route 66 Tour made a stop in Tulsa today.

Now in its fourth year, the event is a cross-country animal adoption tour. The tour will raise awareness about the pets in shelters who are available for adoption from Los Angeles to Chicago.

"We started really well with about 30 adoptions that day so we're a little over 80 thus far in Tulsa so we're hoping to raise some money. People can spin the wheel and all proceeds go back to ARF, says Susan Sims.

ARF stands for The Animal Rescue Foundation. Ford donated a pet-friendly 2013 Escape to help transport the dogs for this event held at Woodland Hills Mall.
