Survey: More Americans Plan To Work Into Their 80's

Posted: Updated:

A new survey finds a growing number of middle-class Americans plan to postpone their golden years until they are in their 80's. Wells Fargo surveyed a thousand adults with income of less than a hundred-thousand dollars. The survey found 30 percent of them plan to work until they are 80 or older. That's up from 25 percent a year ago.

A Wells Fargo spokesman says it's very tough for Americans to save for retirement -- and the answer seems to be to keep working later into life.
