Organizers Announce Socks For Seniors Clothing Drive

Posted: Updated:

A unique winter clothing drive is focused on feet.

Socks for Seniors is kicking off this weekend in Tulsa. Volunteers will collect and organize new socks to be distributed to the elderly in nursing homes.

Organizers told KTUL.com the program begins with Make A Difference Day on October27 and runs through Christmas.

The program is looking for support. Promoters said folks can start their own sock drives. It's a simple as putting a box out.
