Portions of Play areas at two Tulsa parks are roped off after an issue was discovered with the mulch that surrounds them.
Our crews discovered pieces of what appears to be building material ground up in the wood chips.
The city reportedly closed the areas shortly after the mulch was installed. They had received word that the material was some how contaminated from officials in Oklahoma City. They used the same company and found foreign objects in mulch at playgrounds there.
No reports of injures have come in to the city. The installer says it will pay to replace and reinstall the wood chips.
