TULSA, Okla. -
Officials identified a man Friday morning involved in fatal motorcycle accident near a store on Southwest Boulevard.
Tulsa Police said Dustin Scott Rummans, 27, was the victim of Thursday evening's fatality accident.
According to Cpl. Mike Fitzgerald, an officer at the scene, a gray Ford
was turning out of the Goodwill northbound on Southwest Boulevard when
it struck the victim on a motorcycle.
Southwest Boulevard was open again Friday following the accident near the Goodwill Store.
Drivers were advised to use 244 to 40th Pl/Southwest Exit as detour while police worked the scene.
The motorcycle slid over 100 yards away from the point of impact. The victim was not wearing a helmet while on the motorcycle.
No other injuries were caused by the accident.
