Local animal rescue groups are scheduled to take part in the inaugural Whole Foods Howl-O-Ween Adoption Spooktacular on Saturday, October 27th.
The event will feature animals available for adoption from rescue groups including Friends of Bartlesville Paws, 4 The Animals Veterinary Clinic & Rescue, Oklahoma Rescue Rangers and more.
It runs from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Whole Foods at 1401 E. 41st Street in Tulsa.
There will be a "Scary Pet" costume contest at 1:00 PM.
For the past three years, the 3 Gun Nation Pro Series shooting competition has only been for men. This year, they are opening it up to an elite group of women, and a Tulsa Police officer is one of those women. Ten ladies have earned their spot on this pro series. Each pro has to use a riffle, shotgun, and pistol, and it's not easy to be a master of all three.
