The Oklahoma Department of Transportation wants your input on the I-244 eastbound pedestrian bridge.
The current proposal shows a pedestrian bridge that would run the length of the entire eastbound bridge over I-244.
A revised proposal would replace the pedestrian bridge with a viewing platform on the north side of the bridge, giving a scenic view of the Route 66 Memorial Bridge and the future Route 66 history center.
The revised proposal would also connect the viewing platform to a trail to the pedestrian/bicycle facility on the westbound I-244 bridge, which is currently under construction.
The public is invited to submit comments and concerts by November 13th.
