It is the morning after the candy coma and there are leftover sweets.  You're looking at the half empty bag of candy that sits on your table, but you just can't. But KTUL.com wants to remind you there are ways to get rid of the extra treats while giving back to the community.

While Halloween is fun for the kids, it can be scary for pediatric dentists who worry about too much sugar for their patients' teeth.

Families with extra candy can participate in candy buy backs where kids can bring their surplus sugary goodness into dentist offices in exchange for cash, coupons, or prizes.

Websites like halloweencandybuyback.com help parents find participating dentists in the area.

Some dentists send the candy to Operation Gratitude, one of the organizations that sends the candy in care packages for U.S. troops serving overseas.

In the Tulsa area, here are some of the dentists listed on the Halloween Candy Buy Back website:

TULSA
Mint Dental
Cherry Street Cosmetics
Shine Dental

OWASSO
Thomas Dental And Eye Care

SAND SPRINGS
Broadway Dental Arts
