McALESTER, Okla. (AP) - Authorities say two inmates who escaped a prison in Oklahoma have been captured in eastern Arkansas.

Authorities say 27-year-old Terry Buckley and 23-year-old Jeffery Walker escaped Jackie Brannon Correctional Center on Wednesday. Pittsburg County Undersheriff Richard Bedford tells the McAlester News-Capital (http://is.gd/FzNmK2 ) that the inmates were apprehended in a motel room near a truck stop in Palestine, Ark., at about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Bedford says the inmates were accompanied by two women from Wagoner, Okla. He says he expects the women will be charged with helping the inmates escape.

Buckley is serving a 15-year sentence on drug charges and was set to be released in 2023. Walker is serving a 5-year sentence on a robbery charge and had a 2013 release date.
