FBI Investigating Elk City Bank Robbery

The Federal Bureau of Investigation are looking into a robbery in Elk City which occurred Thursday, Nov. 1.

According to a report sent by Special Agent in Charge James E. Finch, at approximately 2:50 p.m. an unknown male entered the bank located on 1620 W. 3rd St. The man demanded all of the hundreds and fifty dollar bills from the teller.

The suspect took the money and left in an unknown vehicle and no weapon was displayed during the robbery.

Surveillance and witness descriptions show that the suspect is a white male, approximately 5 feet 8 inches in height and medium build. He was wearing a black short sleeve shirt, blue jeans and a baseball cap. The report estimates that he is in his mid to late 20s.
