Tulsa Woman Arrested For Reportedly Running Unlicensed Daycare

Tulsa Police have arrested a woman for reportedly running a daycare without a license.

Chelsea Day, aka Parrot, was running a daycare out of her East Tulsa home located in the 3300 block of S 140th E Ave.

TPD officers were called out to the house Thursday to help DHS investigate her running the daycare without a license.

One person told police she took her child to Day's daycare and had found her on Craigslist.

A prior investigation at the end of September revealed Day failed to provide proper supervision and/or a safe environment. A one-year-old was hurt on Day's watch.

Day told police she "worked 24/6," meaning 24 hours a day, six days a week.

Day is being held in the Tulsa County Jail on two complaints of license/permit for child care and one child abuse complaint.
