Oklahoma Election Board Encourages Voters to Check Polling Places

Oklahoma City -

The Oklahoma Election Board is encouraging voters wishing to vote on Tuesday, Nov. 6 to confirm their polling location prior to heading out to the polls.

Oklahoma Election Board Secretary Paul Ziriax stated that the redistricting process in 2011 may have changed polling locations for some voters.

"For voters who have not voted yet in 2012, we encourage them to take a few moments to confirm their precinct assignment and polling place before heading to the polls next Tuesday," Ziriax said.

Voters can check the election board's website to use the polling place locator.

Voters can also check their voter identification cards for polling locations.
