"Drive-Thru" Voting Available For The Disabled

Posted: Updated:

For those people with disabilities a reminder, there is "drive thru" voting at all polling places.

At the County Election Board, just go to the north end and someone will help you inside the building.

You don't have to stand in line.

And if need be, you can also vote inside your car.

"If they are so handicapped that they can't get out of the car, if they let someone in the Election Board know, which we have people standing all over here." says Election Board Secretary, Patty Bryant. "If they let us know, we can send a board out to their car. And you can vote in your car."

There are also special devices for voters who are visually impaired.
