The presidential election has been a teaching tool in many classrooms.
Students at the Tulsa Met High School, 6201 E. Virgin, voted in a mock election on Monday.
Students from 7th through 12th grades cast ballots on the major government races and the Vision 2 tax extension proposal.
Teachers say it's been an educational and inspiring experience.
"Before we started this initiative, some didn't know who was running," says 9th Grade Advisor Nate Morris.
The votes were tallied late Monday afternoon.
President Obama won with 82% to Mitt Romney's 18%.
Students also voted down the Vision 2 proposal by 53%.
