Thousands are expected in downtown Monday as they honor all those who served in past wars at the annual Veterans Day Parade.

This is the parade's 94th year and one of the largest in the country with 10,000 people anticipated to attend the event, according to the City of Tulsa's website.

The parade will begin at 11 a.m. at 300 S. Main Street. Tulsa's Channel 8 will be live at the event with a stream on KTUL.com.

And if you're looking for an activity for you and your family to attend with your loved veteran, the Tulsa Zoo will be honoring them with discounts.

Those who attend the zoo and present their military ID will receive half-price admission. Those with deployed family members currently overseas also will receive free admission with proof of deployment.

The discounts will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 10 through the 12.
