Today's unseasonably warm temperatures were perfect for food trucks from around the area gathered in the Blue Dome District in Downtown Tulsa. It was part of the Eat Street Food Truck Festival. Hundreds of people sampled the range of foods from Mexican to Japanese. Bands played live music and The Dog House hosted a hot dog eating contest. Organizers say everything is better than they could have hoped.
"I think T-Town is in full support, everything we wanted to see we just wanted to throw a party and have our best friends come it's that and they've invited their friends and they're friends and you turn around everybody happy they're eating planning their meals it's everything we wanted and more," says JoAnn Armstrong one of the organizers
There was something for the whole family including activities for kids. Local art vendors sold their wares alongside a small farmer's market.
