Tulsa Police announced Tuesday the end of a prostitution sting in an east Tulsa neighborhood convicting several involved.

TPD's Vice Unit conducted the sting last Friday in the 1500 block of E. 10th Street. In total, 12 individuals were issued citations during the operation.

According to officers, those arrested were 11 for charges of soliciting prostitution. Another subject was arrested on a charge of outraging public decency.

Police also want to remind residents in the neighborhood that many individuals were undercover and not new prostitutes.
