A late night standoff lasts hours and ends early Thursday morning.

It started Wednesday night when Tulsa police were called to assist the fire marshall who had a warrant to search for Glen Gilbert, 42, who was suspected in reference to a meth lab.

According to TPD, when officials arrived at them home near the 4900 block of E. Marshall Street people ran out. Three of them were taken into custody, while Gilbert remained inside with weapons.

Channel 8 was at the scene with a crew as the standoff began just before 9 p.m. when Gilbert refused to leave the house.

After police failed to make communication with Gilbert, gas was deployed inside the home. Tulsa Police said after about three hours, a S.W.A.T team took one man into custody.

Police arrested four people in total, including Gilbert. Johnny Miller, 49, Randy Bowers, 41 and Gina Gibson, 41, were all arrested for Endeavoring to Manufacture.

Gilbert was previously arrested for second degree burglary and possession of controlled substance back in 1990 and 1995, according to Oklahoma Department of Corrections records.

Tulsa Fire and Police crews are still at the scene continuing their investigation. We'll have more as this story develops, right here on KTUL.com.
