With Christmas Inching Closer, Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign Starts

Posted: Updated:

It's a sure sign of the season, those red kettles and the sound of bells ringing.

The Salvation Army will kick off its kettle campaign Thursday afternoon.

The first bell will ding at the Reasors in Bixby.

This is one of the most important fund raisers for the salvation army all year, according to their release.

Be sure to dig down in your pockets or purse, and give what you can as you pass the red kettles throughout the holiday season.
