Lockdown Lifted At Casino After Shots Fired Inside

Posted: Updated:

Tulsa Police say someone walked into a South Tulsa casino and fired shots.

It happened about 8 p.m. Sunday at the RiverSpirit Casino located at 81st and Riverside.

The casino was on lockdown so officers could find the person responsible.

The lockdown has been lifted.

Channel 8 spoke with a witness who said she was gambling near the front of the building and heard three loud "pops."

Guests were escorted to the back of the building before given the all-clear.

Then they were told to go back into the building together as there were reports of another shooter outside.

Police say they were pursuing two female suspects in the parking garage.

A casino spokesperson says only one bullet was fired and one window is damaged.

No one was hit by any bullets.

Channel 8 has a crew on the scene and will update the story as details become available.
