Tulsa Striving For Perfection

Posted: Updated:

The Tulsa Golden Hurricane have a huge game this Saturday against 5-6 SMU.  Yes, I said 5-6.  How can that be such a big game?

Because even though Tulsa has won the west division title and will more than likely host the Conference USA Championship game, there is another goal they hope to accomplish.

"I want these players to get the opportunity to do something that no one else as done." TU Head Football Coach Bill Blankenship said, "That's run the table.  You run the table and win the Conference USA Championship? That's never been done before.  There is a mathematically possibility of winning 12 games, but you can't do that if you don't win 10.  If we want to be special we have to win 10 at SMU."

The Golden Hurricane go for win number 10 at SMU this Saturday at 11:00am.
