17-Year-Old Killed in Car Accident in Caddo County

A 17-year-old girl is killed after being ejected from a vehicle last night in Caddo County.

Colby Ruthardt, 17, was driving a 2006 Ford pickup in when, according to a report, fell asleep at the wheel. His passenger, Sabrina Birch, was ejected after the vehicle overturned and landed upside down.

According to the highway patrol report, Ruthardt's seatbelt was in use, but not by Birch.

Birch was transported in critical condition, but died at OU Medical center from her injuries.
