Vinita, OK -

A historic building is destroyed by a fire near Downtown Vinita.

It happened Saturday evening.

Six fire departments worked for several hours to get the fire out.

The fire destroyed the Hartley Law Firm.

The building was over 100 years old, and was previously used as a courthouse and even a jail.

No one was inside the building at the time and no one was hurt.

High winds threatened nearby buildings, but the blaze did not spread, thanks to firefighters spraying down the roofs.

The fire reportedly started in the upstairs storage area.
