Powerball Jackpot Climbs To $500 Million

Powerball's already record jackpot is now even larger.

It's climbed to a half-billion dollars.

Huge ticket sales nationally are pushing the payout to at least $500 million.

It's the second largest jackpot ever.

A single winner choosing the lump sum would take home $327 million before taxes.

Last march, the Mega Millions lottery reached $656 million.
