Extreme Temperatures Cancel Winterfest

Posted: Updated:

Nearby stores signal Christmas and holiday shopping, but the temperatures outside this weekend tell an entirely different story.

For the second day in a row, a holiday tradition in Tulsa has been canceled due to warm weather.

Organizers say Winterfest had to be canceled all weekend because the toasty conditions did not support the ice rink.

The rink is set up outside the BOK Center in 3rd St. Near Denver.

The other events, like horse carriage rides and Segway Santa also had to be postponed.

Organizers update the web page daily, just head to http://www.bokcenter.com/events/winterfest-2011
