Blind Golden Retriever With Own Seeing Eye Dog Dies

Posted: Updated:

It was one of Tulsa's Channel 8's most popular stories of all time.

Tanner and Blair, the blind dog with its own seeing-eye dog.

Sadly, we've learned that Tanner, the blind golden retriever, has died.

He had to be put to sleep after having major health issues brought on by new seizures.

Last year, we told you how those seizures led to Tanner's friendship with Blair.

Their story went viral, covered by media around the globe.

They were adopted together by a local family a few months ago.

We can only imagine that Blair is missing her big buddy now.
