Report also recognizes social networking and collaboration capability EnterpriseStream as “Exemplary” for its potential to drive worker engagement and team adoption
Santa Clara, Calif. (PRWEB) December 04, 2012
Instantis, the leading cloud-optimized provider of Enterprise Project portfolio Management (EPPM) software, announced today it has been listed in the “Innovators” quadrant of Info-Tech Research Group’s recently published ”Vendor Landscape: Enterprise Project Portfolio Management” report. Info-Tech Research Group Vendor Landscape reports recognize outstanding vendors in the technology marketplace. Assessing vendors by the strength of their offering and their strategy for the enterprise, Info-Tech Research Group Vendor Landscapes pay tribute to the contribution of exceptional vendors in a particular category.
For the second straight year, the Instantis EPPM solution, EnterpriseTrack®, achieved the “Exemplary” rating -- the highest overall product designation awarded on a five-point scale. Exemplary ratings in the “Usability” and “Architecture” sub-categories contributed to the overall result. The report also recognizes Instantis full support for key features such as reactive work management, team adoption, end-user portal, what-if planning and life-cycle support.
EnterpriseTrack was also named “Exemplary” in the worker engagement “Use Case Scenario” based on its EnterpriseStream™ integrated PPM collaboration and social networking capability. According to the report, “Instantis’ introduction of social networking to its PPM solution may drive worker engagement by becoming a hub for collaboration and communication between team members. Automatic notifications published to an activity stream will help users keep track of tasks.”
The Instantis evaluation concludes, “Instantis is a solid solution with a threefold approach to portfolio management (strategic, resource, and portfolio management). It is a good solution for organizations that need to manage multiple portfolio types in a single platform, but want to roll out the solution slowly to minimize change impact.”
