Tshaka Rivers
The father of a 7-year-old boy hit and killed going to school in
October is behind bars for allegedly raping a 16-year-old girl.
On
Monday, a felony charge was filed against Tshaka Rivers, 31. The Tulsa
resident is facing a sexual abuse of a minor charge for allegedly raping
a young girl back on Nov. 24.
According to the police report obtained by KTUL.com, the girl told her aunt that Rivers sexually abused her.

said the incident occurred just after 5 a.m. when Rivers came into her
bedroom and forced sexual intercourse upon the young girl.
After,
the victim went to her aunt who called police and told them the entire
incident. She also said that Rivers told her, "We are going to keep this
between us" in reference to the rape.
Back in October, Channel 8
was there when his son, Elijah, was hit by a car on Halloween on his way
to the Tulsa Lighthouse Charter School.
That morning, he with
his 12-year-old sister standing on the side of Harvard when he stepped
out in front of the car and was hit.
Rivers is now at the Tulsa County Jail on $50,000 bond. He is due in court Dec. 18.
