A 19-year-old man was arrested Monday after he told police he was involved in a robbery at an east Tulsa Super 8 motel.

Todd Randall, 19, was arrested for admitting to Tulsa Police that he was the getaway driver for the robbery that occurred on Oct. 15. at the location on 6616 E. Archer.

In the police report obtained by KTUL.com, he told officers that he drove the vehicle to the robbery, dropped off the other two suspects and waited for them to return. After the robbery, both suspects entered Randall's car and left the scene.

On Monday, he was arrested following a traffic stop for not wearing his seatbelt and having no drivers license or insurance.

At the Detective Division, Randall waived his Miranda Rights and admitted his involvement in the robbery, according to the report.

Police told KTUL.coom that two black male suspects entered the motel back in October and demanded cash from the clerk at the front desk. The clerk complied with their demands and gave them the money.

The suspects were armed with a stun gun and a pistol and were seen entering Randall's vehicle. He also told police that following the robbery, one of the suspects gave him cash at a stop sign east of the Super 8.

He's due in court on Dec. 11 for his involvement in the robbery and on $50,000 bail.
