Two students were transported to Tulsa area hospitals after separate incidents at Nathan Hale middle and high school Wednesday afternoon.

The first happened at Nathan Hall Middle School when a student reportedly overdosed and was taken to Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa.

Tulsa Public School's Chris Payne told KTUL.com that three students, including the one that overdosed, were involved in the incident Wednesday afternoon. The other students were released to their parents.

Payne said they are currently investigating drug use involving the students.

Also on Wednesday, TPD were sent to Nathan Hale High School in response to a fight in the cafeteria.

Payne told KTUL.com that 8 students were involved in the altercation that sent one student to St. Francis Hospital with a head wound.

After the fight, officers arrested one student on possession of multiple bags of marijuana. The others involved were released to their parents.
