Victim Identified In Fatal Sand Springs Wreck

Crash Scene on 41st Street Thursday Morning

A woman is dead following a serious accident near Sand Springs.

Nita Marie Roden, 41, of Tulsa died in the head on crash.

It happened around 7:00am Thursday morning on 41st Street near the Tulsa Community College West Campus.

Sand Springs deputy chief Mike Carter said the investigation revealed Roden's car was heading west and crossed the center line. Her car hit one vehicle, kept rolling and hit another.

Two other people were injured in the wreck. They were taken to area hospitals and should survive.

Investigators said all the drivers were wearing seatbelts.
