Clearwater Compliance, LLC, has welcomed Ashley Bampfield, M.B.A., as director of marketing. Clearwater Compliance helps health care providers and health care companies nationwide become and remain compliant with HIPAA and the HITECH Act.

For the past 12 years, Bampfield has worked with and for hospitals, healthcare systems, managed care companies, physician practices, ambulatory service providers and medical trade associations. “The Clearwater Compliance executive team is made up of titans of the healthcare industry, and I’m so pleased that they chose me as the marketing director,” said Bampfield. “I’m looking forward to working within the HIPAA-HITECH market and helping Clearwater Compliance achieve its aggressive goals for growth.”

Before joining Clearwater Compliance, LLC, Bampfield owned the boutique healthcare marketing firm Bampfield Communications, which served a wide spectrum of healthcare clients. Previously, she held senior marketing and communications positions at Katcher, Vaughn & Bailey Public Relations and AmSurg in Nashville, Tenn., as well as Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital and Methodist Healthcare in Memphis, Tenn. She received both a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of Memphis in Memphis, Tenn.
